Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are thin laminates of porcelain that are custom made in the laboratory to fit your teeth.
They are commonly used to change the shape and color of the teeth, to create smile makeovers, close gaps between
the teeth, etc...
Since they are made entirely of porcelain materials, they are the preferred treatment for esthetic work in the
front teeth unless the damage to be repaired is extensive or the bite does not allow it.
They are more conservative than crowns and in some instances they can be done with little or no tooth reduction.
Veneers are considered cosmetic work, and the majority of
dental insurance plans do not cover them.
Nevertheless, if you want the most esthetic and conservative restoration for your front teeth, porcelain
veneers should be one of your best choices.
